Golden Vision Association Celebrates 1st Anniversary in Lisbon
Lisbon, 10 January 2026 — Golden Vision Association successfully celebrated its 1st Anniversary with a special event held in Lisbon, marking one year of dedicated service toward social inclusion, education, and community development for immigrant communities in Portugal. The non-profit organization highlighted its achievements over the past year and officially announced its strategic plans for 2026.
The anniversary program focused on Golden Vision’s contribution to promoting education, Portuguese language proficiency, legal awareness, and social dignity among Bangladeshi and other immigrant communities living in Portugal.
Over the past year, Golden Vision Association has been actively supporting immigrant integration through Portuguese language education, skill development programs, and employment assistance. Currently, more than 1,000 members are benefiting from the organization’s various services and initiatives.
Shafiqul Alam, President, Board of Directors, Golden Vision Association, stated:
“Our core mission is to build a safe, dignified, and opportunity-driven life for immigrants. The work we have accomplished in the past year has inspired us to expand our impact. In 2026, we are committed to launching new initiatives in language education, legal support, and employment facilitation.”
One of the highlights of the evening was the Excellence Recognition Award Ceremony, where students achieving outstanding results in the Portuguese language courses were honored with Excellence Recognition Awards. Organizers noted that the awards aim not only to recognize academic excellence but also to inspire continued learning and personal development.
The event was honored by the presence of S. M. Ghulam Sarwar, Chief of Mission, Embassy of Bangladesh in Portugal, as the Chief Guest. His presence and address added significant value to the occasion.
